ABSTRACT
Objective. To verify the efficacy of the application of the Modified Precocious Elbow Rehabilitation Program in patients who had radial head fracture and were submited to the surgery for implantation of metallic prothesis. Method. The Program has been applied in eight subjects who were submited to the surgery for implantation of metallic prothesis. Results. We noticed an increase in the elbow's range of motion, grip force and functional hability. Final Considerations. The Program can be valuable for patients who had been submited to a radial head prothesis surgery. However, it's necessary to make other studies about this subject.
Key Words: Elbow joint/injuries, Radius fractures/ rehabilitation, Radius fractures/surgery, Arthroplasty, Joint prosthesis
